The main building dates back to the middle of 1700’s, and has been restored in different periods until its present condition, which has lead to a quality and charming property. The property is built in stone and antique travertine marble, the same material that was used to build the cities of Ascoli Piceno and Rome (the stone was carried to Rome using the antique Roman roads) and gives the house an elegant and firm aspect, which is harmonised with the charming arched ceilings and the antique “cotto” flooring both of which are extremely rare and well conserved. The main entrance is characterised by a marvellous antique rock which acts on a main wall on the left of the entrance. This setting has been chosen by the owners as the dining room from where there is direct access to a real cave made by travertine, used as a rustic storeroom. Behind the living room and the dining room there is a built in kitchen and store room. The upper floor has different levels, in part middle floors and intermediate floors, where there is a comfortable living room with fireplace, access to two bedrooms with bathroom, one single bedrooms with bathroom, and from the owner’s study on the intermediate floor, there is access to a room that at present is used as a hobby laboratory, which could be used as a bedroom. Next to the main house, there is an open porch with pizza and bread oven, barbecue and wood shed.
